But… what is a CTA?
A Call To Action (CTA) is a button, image or line of text that prompts your visitors, leads and customers to take an action. It is literally a “call to action”. In other words, the Call-to-Action is what prompts the user to move on to the next step in your sales funnel.

In practice, it is a button used to generate customers - converted in a form and subsequently added to the contact database - which must be visually attractive and easy to locate on your pages and emails.


It is not enough to put the CTA 'Click here'
One thing is for sure: When it comes to CTAs, you can’t just put a “Click here!” neon button on your website and start tracking clicks and leads. There are several elements you need to include to encourage people to take action.

A CTA can be placed anywhere in your marketing strategy - website, e-book, email or in a blog post, but it must follow some rules:

Text that leads to action: It is not enough to say, for example, “Send”. It is important to have a sentence summarized in a few words, that includes verbs that indicate immediate action and grab attention.

Towards the landing page: your CTA will be more effective if it leads your potential customer to a landing page, even if it could, for example, lead to a contact page.

Keep track of the CTAs you have used and the results you have achieved. Visitors, clicks, leads, quote requests… everything. Be clear about the objectives of using CTAs and the results you want to achieve. This way, you can measure your CTA strategy, constantly monitor it, evaluate its performance and optimize it to get the results you want!
